So glad I was able to play Matchmaker to help make this happen:
A collaboration between Radiant Images, VRScout and Vantage.tv to live stream in 360 video President Obama’s Farewell Address – marking the first simulcast broadcast of a live presidential speech in 360 VR on multiple social media platforms.
While thousands brave freezing weather to attend the event, the production team is strategically placing three Nokia OZO cameras inside McCormick Place and live streaming the entire broadcast using Nokia’s OZO Live, enabling anyone to watch it and feel the excitement from the comfort of their own home in 360 video through YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
Beginning at 6 p.m. PT, transport yourself to Chicago as President Obama shares his perspective on the past eight years, talks about the future of America, and says his final goodbyes.
Tune in to VRScout’s website, Facebook, YouTube or Twitter to watch it live. Enjoy the experience – and feel free to contact Radiant Images to discuss your 360 video and virtual reality needs.
