Sports Engineering, Inc. (SEI) is a Delaware Corporation formed to commercialize a new type of athletic shoe “sole” technology that will reduce the likelihood of knee and ankle injuries. With the first of its kind, movable split-sole self-recovery design, the company believes that this invention will help make playing sports, from youth to collegiate to professional, safer for participants of all ages.

Sports Engineering, Inc. holds the exclusive worldwide rights to the load mitigating “sole” technology that was invented, incubated and patented at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
